THIS year, St Andrew's Church, Kildwick, celebrates its 700th anniversary.
It's a building which occupies a significant place in many peoples' hearts - not just in Kildwick, but in the wider local area and even farther afield.
There will be a special service on Monday, November 30 at which we will be giving thanks for St Andrew's over seven centuries.
As part of that service, I'd love to include some stories that illustrate the importance of this church in local peoples' lives.
Do you have a story about how the church has been significant in your life, or those of your family members? If so, I'd love to hear it! Depending on the response, I'm thinking about putting together a booklet of stories that show how important St Andrew's has been for so many people.
If you've got a story, do please get in touch. Let me know whether you're happy for me to include your name, or would prefer your contribution to be anonymous. You'll find my contact details on the KCB Churches website: kcbchurches.org.uk.
I look forward to hearing from you!
Rev Julie Bacon
Interim Vicar, St Andrew's Kildwick, St John's Cononley and St Mary's Bradley
