THE second lockdown came too late, resulting in the economy possibly suffering at least twice the damage.
This coincides with traders needing to make the money that sees them through the lean months just after Christmas.
Then there are those who have lost their jobs because Chancellor Sunak reintroduced the furlough scheme too late to save them.
This is on top of the tragedy of the deaths that need not have happened had the second lockdown taken place sooner.
