AFTER being unable to offer grants last year due to the impact of coronavirus, the trustees of the Sylvester Petyt charity are delighted that they are able to invite applications for small grants from Skipton students under 25 for higher or further education in 2021/22.
They need to be or have been students of Skipton secondary schools or Craven College and they or their parents must live in the ancient parish of Skipton: Skipton, Barden, Beamsley, Bolton Abbey, Halton East, Draughton, Hazlewood-with-Storiths or Embsay with Eastby.
Grants can also be made towards the purchase of specific items particular to the student's course (such as camera or musical instrument) if they live in Skipton itself.
