Regarding your recent nostalgia picture of Silvio's bakery, in Skipton High Street.
Silvio's Ltd, bakers and confectioners, was part of RHM Bakeries, Bradford.
They traded in 80-plus shops from Berwick-on-Tweed into North East Yorkshire, Lancashire, Nottingham, down to Peterborough.
The company was well knows for fresh creams, Green Festival Gateau and vanilla slices.
The company was founded by the Lanfranchi family and was operated from Bradford bakery in 1987 then transferred to Birmingham to become The Three Cooks bake shops (RHM Ltd).
