Letter: Liz Truss and her part time jobs
WE are familiar with Liz Truss as foreign secretary since 2021 but her Wikipedia entry tells me that since 2019 she has been minister for women and equalities too.
It seems to me that there are numerous things going on in the world that might require a foreign secretary; at the same time I feel that we live in a very unequal society and those issues could also do with a lot of work.
Who decided that both of these roles are part-time jobs, and if so, why?
