DRIVING to Harrogate on the A59 on Friday I saw a large number of people litter-picking on the verges, over a length of at least two miles, with many filled black bags.
I understand it was staff from the Bolton Abbey Estate doing their annual litter pick.
Whilst it's sad that this is needed, I really appreciate what they were doing.
