MANY readers will be aware that the A65 bridge over the River Aire near Coniston Cold has been damaged yet again.
This time the stone parapets on both sides have dangerous gaps. If the necessary repairs are carried out without the introduction of some effective new measures to prevent future damage, the saga and expense will certainly continue.
