WELL done to Barclays in Skipton. Not only are they closing their branch they are moving to the library room which is upstairs in the Swadford centre .

They have not considered customers who are disabled or less mobile . Presumably the staff will come downstairs to assist these customers with their banking in earshot of those enjoying coffee and cake etc .

So much for privacy in relation to banking. Once again no consideration for the less able customers from companies.

Note - Barclays is due to close its High Street branch in Skipton on March 7 and open a small office in Swadford Hub in Swadford Street on Friday, March 8.
