Craven Challenge Cup holders Rimington eased into the quarter-finals after defeating Mastab’s Craven League champions Skipton LMS 3-0.

Goals by Adam Hutchin- son, Tim Benfield and Glen Dinsdale sealed their triumph.

Paul Oldroyd netted a hat-trick and Matt Nutter scored twice as Earby triumphed.

They scuppered Rolls’ hopes after the motormen had come from 2-0 down to lead 3-2 early in extra-time.

Skipton Town were ruing their missed chances after going down 3-1 at home to Sedbergh Wanderers.

Town took an early lead through Andrew Nicholson but Sedbergh hit back to win.

Sedbergh’s keeper James Smith was forced to make two excellent saves to keep them in the game.

Barnoldswick Barons were defeated 6-0 by visitors Grindleton and Waddington won 4-0 at Bentham.

The tie between Ingleton and Barnoldswick Town Reserves was abandoned after 60 minutes with the scores level at 1-1.

In the Norman Pratt Trophy Grindleton Reserves required extra time to defeat Waddington Reserves 3-2 Cononley Sports Reserves were boosted by a first-minute goal from Craig Ebbrell as they beat Rolls Reserves 4-1.

Andrew Hudson, Nick Kaminski and Colin Throupe added further goals to seal their win. Justin Wilson netted for Rolls.
