SKIPTON Swimming Club members made a large dint in the pile of silverware on offer at City of Bradford Swimming Club's end-of-season meet at Shipley Pool, where all of their raiders set personal bests.

Leading the way was Paige Fenton (11 years), Hannah Raistrick (13) and Lauren Hanson (15), who each won six golds.

Hannah achieved six regional qualifying times, while Paige claimed nine personal bests, one more than Lauren, who broke three club records.

Her 1min 07.89sec 100 metres butterfly time was quicker than her effort of last December, while her 50m freestyle time was 28.59sec and her 100m breaststroke time 1.19.81.

Hermione Roe (10) only won three golds but also broke three club records – the 50m freestyle (33.12) and 50m breaststroke (42.78), where she won gold, and the 100m breaststroke (1.32.83), where she was runner-up.

Other marks to fall were the 100m butterfly to James Field (14), whose 01.08.28 was a 25th of a second faster than Eliot Rhodes' 2006 mark, while Ethan Camsey (14) had a 200m individual medley time of 2.28.07 and a 200m backstroke time of 2.23.85.
