ANOTHER miserable night's weather greeted Bronte Wheelers riders for their final ten-mile time trial of the season.
Blustery and wet conditions appear to have been the norm in 2016 and this proved no exception.
Riders were faced with temperatures of two degrees and snow for early events in May and things have not improved much throughout the summer.
However, they were all cheered up by the prize presentation which followed this last outing.
Hamish Graham was the evening's winner in an excellent time of 22min 37sec riding for Green Jersey.
He was followed by Seth Smith, who also scooped the veterans' prize in 23:32 riding for Paul Milnes Cycles, while in third place was the season's most improved rider Darren Caines in 24:29.
The season's overall winner was Steve Ayers of Pennine CC, with Alex Barusevicus winning the road bike and junior awards and Bronte's own Joe Greaves winning the clip-on TT bars award.
