PENDLE Renegades may be subject to the law of diminishing returns but they have still scored 29 goals in three rounds of the Skipton Body Repair Centre Craven League's Northern Plant Hire Trophy.

They started with a 17-0 victory over Oxenhope Recreation and a 7-0 triumph over Chatburn, both at Sough Park, and followed them with a 5-2 win over Skipton Town, this time at Victory Park.

Matthew Bowker (2), man of the match Damon Whelan (2) and substitute Luke Slade were the marksmen for the Renegades as they became the first team into this season's semi-finals.

Rolls may be second in the Premier Division but they are still third favourites for the title, despite beating struggling visitors Sporting Keighley 7-0, courtesy of hat-tricks by man of the match Liam Garbutt and Paul Oldroyd and a goal by Ben Whitaker.

Silsden Whitestar continue to put pressure on leaders Settle United and Rolls.

The Cobbydalers triumphed 4-0 at mid-table Trawden Celtic, courtesy of goals from Sam Stanfield (3) and James Wilson, and trail United by four points with a game in hand.

Grassington United moved up a place to sixth on the back of a 5-2 victory at Earby Town, with David Greenwood (2), Jeremy Gee, Jack Schindler and man of the match Nicky Wright on target for the winners.

In Division Three, second-half goals by Simon Cox (2) and Mark Bradley made the difference for leaders Silsden Whitestar Reserves in a 3-0 win at Bingley Juniors Reserves.

The front-runners were further heartened when they found out that Ilkley – their main title rivals – had been held to a 1-1 draw at tenth-placed Cowling Reserves, Alasdair MeEwan netting for the hosts.

There was no joy, however, for bottom club Bradley Reserves, who lost 5-1 at home to third-placed Barlick Wanderers.

Andrew Hardeman got Bradley's goal, with Lee Britain being their best player.

Gong winner Tom Duerden (2), Dan Holden, Chris Richardson and substitute Matthew Ainscough were on target for Wanderers.
