A WARM evening with light wind attracted over 30 riders to Bronte Wheelers' latest ten-mile time trial on the Kildwick to Skipton and back course.
The winner was British Best All Rounder champion Richard Bideau, representing Pendle Forest, with a time of 20min 05secs, just failing to beat the 30mph average.
In second place, also riding for Pendle Forest, was Paul Braithwaite in a time of 21:30 and third was Steve Colloby, riding for All Terrain Cycles in a time of 21:47.
The previous weekend saw Bronte-Neophix rider Steve Ayers win the Otley open 50-mile time trial at Dishforth with an excellent time of 1hour 50min 13secs, beating his closest rivals by almost four minutes in what was his third open victory this season.
