SETTLE United are back on top of the Skipton Body Repair Centre Craven League Premier Division.

The defending champions took advantage of Silsden Whitestar having a free week to leapfrog them at the top of the table.

United – the only unbeaten team in the division – beat visitors Sporting Keighley 12-1 at Bridge End to go clear by a point.

Among the scorers for the winners were Dan Bathers and Tom Strickland, who both netted hat-tricks, Shaun Airey (2), man of the match Matthew Simpson and Will Simpson.

Bradley didn't exactly cash in on their two-division superiority at Otley Town in the league's blue-riband competition.

The hosts are bottom of the pile, being 11th in Division Three, while Bradley are tenth in Division One, but only triumphed 3-1 in the first-round Northern Plant Hire Trophy tie.

Matthew Biggin (2) and man of the match Jordan Blackburn were on target for the visitors, who led 2-0 at half-time.

Only two places separated Hellifield Sports and Earby Town in the Division One table, but Town are in a trough at the moment and lost their first-round tie 8-2.

Matthew Beckwith (4) and Jacob Wroe(2) got the majority of Hellifield's goals, with the tally being made up by Simon Chapman and Jack Daley.

Sutton, who are only a place above Otley Town, went down 6-1 at Bingley Town, who are third in Division Two.

Ben Wilson netted in the second half for the away team, whose man of the match was Jack Kennedy, but it was only 1-0 at half-time.
