West Riding County Amateur League Division One: Steeton Reserves 6 Hunsworth 0

Steeton were comfortable winners in a rearranged game at Marley.

On a pitch that wasn't ideal for good football, the Chevrons adapted better to the sticky conditions.

Greig Hudson headed home for the first goal after nine minutes before Casey Dowthwaite struck a second from the edge of the box that flew into the top corner, leaving the visiting keeper with no chance.

Andy Howland headed home Alistair Morgan's cross for the third goal as the full back combined well with Dowthwaite down the right.

The second half saw more Steeton pressure, with keeper Sam Moore a virtual spectator.

Skipper Howland headed in Toby Jeffrey's cross for number four after some great wing play by the latter.

Jeffrey skipped round the Hunsworth defence for number five and Brannan Lawn rounded things off in style when his diving header brought the sixth and final goal in the last minute.

Steeton first team's Premier Division Cup tie at home to Littletown was washed out.

They play Denholme at Marley on Saturday (1.45pm) in the Keighley FA Challenge Cup, while the reserves host West Horton in the league.
