THE Walker Foster 54321 League sees last season's top team Keighley A once again at the head of the table. They have played ten games with 438 points and are still unbeaten with seven wins and three draws.

Last week's match at Sutton A was a very tight affair, with a final result of 36 points each. Cononley A are second with 415 points after a 44-27 win at Colne Legion A.

In third are Gargrave A with 394 points, who won at home to Devon 41-29. Sutton A are fourth on 393.

Silsden Playing Fields A are holding top spot in the Walker Foster Second Division and have 354 points after a 39-21 home win against Crosshills A. The away side are third with 332 points.

Surprise package are Rolls Royce A, who are in second with 338 points, though they suffered a bad result away at Steeton A last week, losing 32-23.

The Skipton Building Society Division Three sees Colne Legion B going well with 350 points, but last week saw their first defeat at Broughton Road B, 33-28.

Silsden P F B remain undefeated with nine wins and one draw, they have 341 points. Craven A are in third place with 324.

Settle B are looking good in the Skipton Building Society Division Four. They have 271 points, with Rolls Royce B in second on 238 points, Craven B are third with 222 points and a game in hand on the top two.

The Inter District Veterans team produced a very good home performance at Gargrave against Bradford, six winners and a match win 20-8. The best result came from Alden Phillips with a 21-4 win, while David Jacques and John Parkin both won 21-11.

The away team found it tough going with just two winners, though Trevor Hargreaves produced a good 21-7 win, and while David Hemsley won 21-20, the team lost 19-9.

The Clarkson and Supplementary Cups are through to the quarter final stage and will take place on Tuesday June 26, the matches are as follows:

SHC Supplementary Cup: Cononley A (10) v Sutton B (80) at Whinfield, Settle A (50) v Craven A (80) at Alkincoates PWA No 2, Crosshills A (30) v Colne Cricket Club (scr) at Broughton Road, Whinfield B (115) v Keighley C (130) at Colne Legion.

The Skipton and District Veterans Handicap Final will be on Friday June 22 (1:30pm start) at Silsden Playing Fields.

The eight finalists are Derek Seed, Mick Duke and Stan Bargh (all Settle), Mick Demain and Warren Burnett (Craven), Trevor Hargreaves (Keighley), David Hemsley (Oxenhope) and Alden Phillips (Steeton).
