BARROWFORD have been thrown out of this season's Wynn Cup and barred from next year's competition.
The punishment was handed out at an emergency meeting of the Mewies Craven League Executive after the semi-final between Barowford and Haworth Road was abandoned.
Haworth Road, who were 102-4 reply in reply to Barrowford's 174 when play was halted, will contest the final against Embsay at Gargrave on Sunday, August 5.
The match umpires and representatives from both clubs were interviewed at the meeting before the decision was made.
Barrowford will look to bounce back from that decision by taking the Division One title.
They currently sit two points ahead of Bingley Congs at the summit, having won 10 of their 14 games so far.
