STEVE Mortimer’s President’s Day at Ghyll on Sunday proved to be a big hit.
In ideal conditions, which led to some high scores, the winner on 45 points was Jason Wright.
In second place with 41 points was Brandon Cocker on a card play-off with Ashley Smith.
Other winners were: 4 David Sedman 40pts, 5 Steven Wilkinson 39pts.
Front nine: Brent Noble 22pts.
Back nine: Jack Farnhill.
Mid six: Andy Gibb.
Seniors prize: Craig Lister.
Nearest pins: Jason Wright and Ray Duckworth
Ghyll’s juniors contested the President’s Junior Prize on Saturday. Results: 1 Jack Tyrell 40pts, 2 Spencer Datkiewicz 39pts, 3 Matt Stevens 38pts.
