THIS weekend the majority of clubs in the Saturday-based leagues will be involved in their local FA cup competitions.

Last season's winners of the Bradford FA Saturday Senior Cup, Wibsey, will commence their defence of the trophy with a tie at East Bierley where they will meet Hunsworth.

Campion, who were the beaten finalists, should progress in the next phase when they host Fields FC Reserves.

One of the most unusual ties will take place at Saltaire Playing Fields, when Salts, who play in the West Yorkshire League Premier Division, take on their reserve side, who are in the Alliance Division Two of the same league.

Fields FC will entertain Salts 4ths, who play in the Craven League.

Yorkshire Amateur League sides Prospect and Athletico will clash at Idle, with the County Amateur League teams, Toller FC and TVR United, will face each other at Thornton Rec.
