SILSDEN Whitestar continued their winning ways by blanking Skipton Town 6-0 in a Premier Division Cup game on Saturday.

Jack Wrigglesworth and James Wilson each scored a brace for Silsden and man of the match Josh McNulty and Zac Conway had a goal each for the visitors to Engine Shed Lane. Josh Newton was Skipton's man of the match.

Settle United won a close Premier Division Cup encounter at Trawden Celtic Juniors.

Goals by man of the match Tom Strickland and Aaron Woodhouse lifted the North Craven side to victory at Trawden Recreation Ground.

In league action, Grassington United swept aside bottom of the division Broomhill 5-2 at Bronte Fields.

Jan Ozdoba's brace led the way for Grassington, and Reece Fowler, Daniel Hunt and Jack Schindler also scored for the visitors. Oscar Canny was Grassington's man of the match.

A brace by Nathan Taylforth and goals by Damon Whelan and Lee Hall saw hosts Rolls beat FC Sporting Keighley 4-2 at Ghyll Lane on Saturday.

Cowling got their second league win of the season with a 3-1 home win against Carleton Sports Club.

Luke Barker scored two goals and man of the match Seth Wiseman added one for Cowling. Luke Howsen scored Carleton's only goal.

Division One leaders Crosshills got another win on Saturday, beating Cononley Sports Club 4-1 at Steeton FC's Summerhill Lane ground.

Scott Newton, Joshua Page and Lee Thompson were amongst the goal scorers for Crosshills, who are 11 points at the top of the division.

Bottom of the division Bradley got their first point of the season by securing a 4-4 draw against Rolls Reserves at Ings Lane Playing Fields.

Benjamin Ramsden bagged a brace for Bradley and Tommy Watson and Joe Stapleton were also on the scoresheet for the home side.

In other Division One action, Bingley Town also beat Chatburn 6-1.

Grassington United Reserves maintained their lead at the top of Division Two with a thumping 9-3 win against Earby Town.

Man of the match Sean Clayton scored a hat-trick, David Greenwood got a brace and Darren Cox, Ian Craven, Declan Hawkins and Danny Pow were also on the scoresheet for Grassington.

Jake Hargreaves had a brace and Craig Stansfield scored one for Earby Town.

In the Division Two Cup, AFC Barnoldswick beat Addingham 4-0 behind goals by Carl Osadzenko, Callum Uttley, Aiden Warhurst and Luke Scott.

A hat-trick by Daniel Holden saw Barlick Wanderers beat Skipton Reserves 4-3 in another Division Two Cup encounter at Victory Park.

Matthew Shirt also scored for Barnoldswick, and Skipton, who were trailing 3-0 at half-time, fought back with second half goals from William Binks, Danny Garrod and Thomas Mountain.

Five goals by Alex Monkhouse saw Salts 4th cruise to an 8-2 win at Cononley Sports Club 2nds, which helped the Bradford side overtake Barnoldswick Barons at the top of Division Three.

The Barons were held to a 2-2 draw by Crosshills Reserves at Sough Park on Saturday.

Crosshills, who got goals from Ben O'Hara and Josh Jordan, were up 1-0 at half-time.

Barnoldswick pulled two goals back in the second half, one by Matthew Blackwell, who got sent off, and another by substitute Thomas Cleaver.

A brace by William Smith and a goal by Ben Barton helped Settle United 3rds beat Addingham Reserves 3-2.

Substitute Mickey Ruddock's goal saw Sutton secure a 1-1 draw against Otley Town at South Craven School, and iPlay FC thumped FC Sporting Keighley Reserves 8-0 at Marley.
