NORTH Ribblesdale Under-15s recent good form continued as they defeated a competitive Wharfedale team 15-14 on Sunday at the Avenue.
In damp conditions, the teams committed to an open and expansive approach with both sets of backs getting a chance to show their skills.
Midway through the first half, Liam Knights managed to get downwards pressure over the line, and Ribb took a 5-0 lead in to the break.
The second half saw more great entertainment, with solid tackling and some fine attacking.
Man of the match Flynn Wake ran in two well-worked backs moves for Ribb, who ended the match 15-14 winners.
