BARNOLDSWICK Town marched on in the West Riding County Cup by demolishing Knaresborough Town 8-1 in a quarter-final on Tuesday.
Jack Coop put Barlick ahead in the third minute. Then after 21 minutes a cross from Daniel Vincent set up Shaun Airey, who nodded home to make it 2-0.
Knaresborough had a mountain to climb when Sam Cook received a straight red card for a studs up challenge in the 37th minute.
Two minutes later, Elliott Wilson slotted home Town's third goal, and the visitors went into half-time 3-0 up.
Zack Dale made it 4-0 in 50th minute, but six minutes later Dan Thirkell scored Knaresborough's first goal.
Andrew Hill scored next, then both Dale and Coop secured their braces and Lewis Morgan got the final goal.
