North Ribb Under-15s bow out of Yorkshire Plate
NORTH Ribblesdale Under-15s bowed out of this year's Yorkshire Plate competition in a 38-17 loss to Hullensians on Sunday.
An early interception try for the visitors saw Ribb chasing a game they were already having difficulty finding rhythm in.
A spectacular dive over in the corner by Freddie Spensley in the first half, and opportunistic efforts from Will Garnet and the lively Nelson Delailomaloma were not enough as the visitors, who beat Wharfedale in the previous round, ran out winners by 38-17.
Ribb's Harry Mathew was man of the match.
