DIVISION One Cononley Sports Club advanced to the semi-finals of the Northern Plant Hire Trophy after winning 3-2 at Premier Division side Cowling on Saturday.

Man of the match Miroslav Allen, Alan Brewer and Josh Pendle scored the goals for Cononley, who will play the winner of the quarter-final match between Grassington United and AFC Barnoldswick.

Craig Gregory and Craig Walton were on the scoresheet for Cowling.

In another close Trophy clash, Trawden Celtic Juniors beat Silsden Whitestar 3-2 at Trawden Recreation Ground.

Second half goals by Sam Stansfield and James Wilson were not enough as Trawden advance to the semi-finals, where they will play either Broomhill or iPlay FC.

Broomhill advanced to the quarter-finals after beating Cross Hills 2-1 at Sutton Playing Fields.

Goals by Keann Shaw and Andrew Tanner helped the Keighley side earn a narrow victory.

Division Two side AFC Barnoldswick cruised into the quarter-finals with a comprehensive 5-1 victory against Otley Town A at Victory Park.

A hat-trick by Callum Uttley and a brace by Callum Thomas saw AFC Barnoldswick through to the next round.

In league action, Settle United used one of their games in hand to move into second place in the Premier Division with a 4-1 against FC Sporting Keighley at Giggleswick.

A brace by man of the match Aaron Woodhouse and goals by Will Simpson and Nathan Bullock saw Settle secure all three points. Mohammed Zubair scored the only goal for the visitors.

Bingley Town drew level on points with Division One leaders Cross Hills after securing 4-1 win at Rolls Reserves on Saturday. With both teams on 31 points, Cross Hills remain league leaders on goal difference.

Goals by man of the match Tommy Watson and Joe Stapleton saw second from bottom Bradley secure an away point in a 2-2 draw at Silsden Whitestar Reserves. Bradley Fay and James Gill scored for the Silsden side.

In Division Two, a brace by Danny Pow and goals by man of the match Sean Clayton and Ollie White helped leaders Grassington United Reserves beat Skipton Town Reserves 4-1 at Engine Shed Lane. Ryan Hoggarth scored Town's only goal.

Bottom side Bingley Town Reserves drew 3-3 against Barlick Wanderers at Marley. Sam Walsh scored a brace and Daniel Holden were on the scoresheet for Barlick.

A brace by Kieran Ling led Broomhill Reserves to a 5-2 win against Cowling Reserves at Bronte Playing Fields. Callum Lowe and Dominic Broughton were on the mark for Cowling.

Four goals by Alex Monkhouse and three by Lee Grice kept Salts 4ths at the top of Division Three as they beat Sutton 12-2. Dominic Hargreaves and Mickey Ruddock scored Sutton's two goals.

Second placed Barnoldswick Barons kept pace with Salts after they blanked FC Sporting Keighley Reserves at Marley.

Gareth Turner scored four goals and Aaron Borrowdale, James Cumpstey and Owen Pearson had one each for the Barons.

Braces by Ben Barton and Matthew Beckwith helped Settle United 3rds beat Cononley Sports Club 2nds 4-0.
