TWO goals in a minute condemned Barnoldswick Town to a 2-0 defeat at leaders City of Liverpool in the Hallmark Security League Premier Division.
Barlick crashed to their 12th league defeat of the season on Tuesday night thanks to strikes from Craig Cairns (19) and Karl Clair (20).
It was always going to be a tough task for Town as they faced a City of Liverpool side who have only lost four games all season, moved five points clear at the top of the table.
The loss saw Barlick fall to 10th in the table, ahead of Saturday's trip to 16th-placed Padiham.
