NORTH Ribblesdale Under-15s triumphed 19-5 over their neighbours Wharfedale in an exhilarating match at The Avenue on Sunday.
Scrum-half Leo Walkden opened the scoring on seven minutes, diving headlong over the line from the back of a ruck.
Centre Joey Pratt then burst through the Wharfedale defence on 19 minutes to make the score 14-0 at half-time.
Wharfedale responded with a well run-in backs try 13 minutes into the second half, but winger Flynn Wake used his pace to secure the victory for North Ribblesdale with five minutes to go.
North Ribblesdale captain Adam Dunwell was man of the match.
