STEETON are looking for a winning end to this season at Cougar Park tomorrow.

They entertain AFC Darwen in their final game of the term in Hallmark Security League Division One North (3pm kick-off).

Steeton are 11th in the table, following 11 wins from 37 games this season and can leapfrog AFC Blackpool with a win tomorrow and results go their way.

The Chevrons grabbed a 1-1 draw at Nelson in their previous game on Easter Monday, with Toby Jeffrey grabbed his side's goal.

Steeton boss Roy Mason said: "I’ll be looking for us to finish the season with another committed performance from the players, despite us technically not having anything to play for lately we have put in some good performances in our last couple of games.

"The one thing that the players have given me this season is effort, at times we’ve been a little bit naive and shown bits of inexperience, but not once have these lads not put a shift it.

"I’d like to personally thank everyone that’s supported us this season.

"We’ve really increased our crowds this season and gained a whole new fan base, a lot of people had probably never seen us play until this season, but I hope they’ve enjoyed the journey with us and will be back in 2019/20 as we look to continue our progression as a semi-professional club."
