BARNOLDSWICK edged to a 13-run victory against Euxton at Victory Park on Saturday.

Barlick lost the toss and were put into bat by the visitors.

After opener Adil Khan was out for a duck, fellow opener Chalana De Silva (29) and Jack Rietschel (32) put on a second-wicket partnership that helped the home side reach a score of 129 all out. Madushan Ravichandrakumar took 6-34 for Euxton.

Some good bowling by Rietschel (6-44) and De Silva (3-26), who each bowled 17 overs, helped limit Euxton who were all out for 116 in the 43rd over.

A fine performance by Feniscowles' captain Zuhaib Zaman saw Earby beaten by 39 runs on Saturday.

Earby won the toss and put Feniscowles into bat, and Zaman scored 35 off 61 before being stumped by Girvacques De Jager off the bowling of Earby pro Ashen Bandara.

Bandara took 3-34 and Martin Windle 3-18 as Feniscowles were bowled out for 102.

Zaman then ripped through the Earby batting order, taking 8-25 in 13 overs as Earby were skittled out for 63 with skipper Luke Hipgrave top-scoring with 22.

Barnoldswick and Earby's second teams both won their Lawrenson Cup matches on Saturday.

David Scothern top-scored for Barnoldswick II (151-5) as they beat Chatburn II (127-4) by 24 runs, and Earby II (178-9) beat Padiham (112 all out) by 66 runs.
