SHAUN Airey won two awards at Barnoldswick Town's presentation night.

The club, who once again are looking forward to life in the North West Counties' Premier Division next season, will be hoping to get back in the top half as they finished this season's campaign in 11th place.

The awards for all three teams are as follows:

1st Team: Supporters' Player - Shaun Airey, Manager's Player - Jake Mcaneaney, Players' Player - Shaun Airey, Young Player - Teal Amos and Goal of the Season - James Crorken.

East Lancashire 1st Team: Manager's Player - Adam Wormwell, Players' Player - Jonny Davies and Most Improved - Chris Richardson.

East Lancashire 2nd Team: Manager's Player - Kieran Cunningham, Players' Player - Brandon Cocker and Most Improved - Michael Dale.

* Work is also under way on the ground at the Silentnight Stadium.

The groundstaff have applied topsoil to get rid of all the lumps and bumps at the ground.

The club is also hoping to secure grants to spend a significant amount of money to improve drainage at the ground and the playing surface of the pitch over the coming season and beyond.
