THE outstanding tie from the Wynn Cup round one saw Crossflatts secure a 33-run win up the hill at Wilsden.

Bright Njanji (40) and Mohammad Shahnawaz (38) helped Crossflatts to 160-7 in their 20 overs.

Wilsden replied with 127-8, led by Hasnat Bukhari, who hit a 48 ball 68 which included three fours and five sixes.

Crossflatts travel to Riddlesden to take on Eldwick and Gilstead in the second round on June 2.

Meanwhile, in the Cowling Cup first round, the holders of the trophy fell at the first hurdle.

Foulridge II entertained Silsden and going first made 111 all out with the previous day's hero, Humza Jutt, making 23.

In a frantic close to the innings Foulridge II suffered three run-outs as they tried to garner runs.

Silsden took 16.2 overs to overtake their opponents' score. Jack Roberts (39) and Ben Sugden (27no) taking them to 114-3.

Bradley, who have two sides in the cup, did well to get 21 players on the field on the same day.

The first team had the pleasure of playing their game at Lawkholme Lane against Keighley III.

Bradley made 115-4 led by Harry Andrews (28), with Chris Kimberley and Dave Hunt both making 23.

Keighley III fell just 12 runs short of their target despite 46 from Danny Horne with George Bell taking 4-9.

Bradley II were up the road at Gargrave II and were dismissed for 123-9 in 19.5 overs.

With Tony Spensley hitting 66no, Gargrave II got home by seven wickets.

Down at Bradford Road, Airedale II were restricted to 82-9 of which Nazam Hanif made 31no as Will Shuttleworth took 3-13.

Visitors Skipton CI galloped home in 11.2 overs with Sam Smith hitting 48.

Finally, Bingley Congs II were in fine pomp as they thrashed 223-2 on their 20 overs at Sutton II.

Jamie Teale (80no) and Lee Crowther (74) put on 169 for the first wicket.

Sutton II replied with 159-4 with Sam Solley (94no) and Jack Whitaker (27) being the main contributors.

The second round draw is as follows: Skipton CI v Silsden; Bradley II v Oakworth II or Denholme II; Ingrow II v Bingley Congs II; Embsay II v Wilsden II; Skipton CI II v Bingley Congs III; Riddlesden v Haworth II or Glusburn; Long Lee II v Hepworth & Idle II.

Bradley have a bye into round three following the withdrawal of Cononley II. The games to be played on Sunday, June 9.
