MEWIES Solicitors Craven & District League Division One leaders Haworth were in a ruthless mood as they brushed aside Bingley Congs.

Congs batted first and we skittled for 79 with Johandre Barnard (35) top scoring as Olly Bishop (4-32) and Jamie Rowell (3-19) did most of the damage. Rowell made 48no for a seven-wicket win.

Haworth Road are second after seeing off Foulridge by 21 runs.

Haworth plundered 202 thanks mainly to Deepal Dissanayake (50) and Goher Ayoub (45) with Mohammad Yaqoob taking 3-32.

Foulridge were dismissed for 181. Jabbran Sajjad made 60 as Shahid Saleem (4-52) and Muhammad Zahir (3-41) took the bowling honours.

Crossflatts crushed Embsay by 10 wickets.

Embsay had Joe Holt (43) to thank for reaching 115 as Alex Bradbury claimed 5-27. James Roper (84no) and Harris Hussain (36no) took only 17.4 overs to win.

Embsay are three points adrift at the bottom after Barrowford’s visit to Sutton went their way by five wickets.

Sutton made 202-7 in their overs with Sam Solley (44), Craig Thornton (35) and Matt Hagyard (31) being the main contributors as Majid Iqbal (3-47) was the best bowler.

Barrowford reached 93-5 before Imran Akhtar (56no) and Shuja Rashid (45no) put a belligerent 93 on the sixth wicket as the target was reached in 32.4 overs.

Ingrow were indebted to number nine Dan Scott (56) for their reaching 117 as Ryan Judson (6-20) bowled well.

Denholme sauntered to a five-wicket win with Sarum Qureshi making 37 and Adam Taylor 32.

After making more than 400 the previous week, Oakworth were brought down to earth with a bump.

They stuttered to 116 with Jack Davison (29) top scoring as Liam Foulkes claimed 5-25.

This was in reply to Cowling’s 164 in which Foulkes top scored with 49 as Harry Hollingsworth (4-21) and Davison (3-37) did the damage with the ball.

In the top of the table clash in Division Two, the victory went to Hepworth & Idle which sees them open a three-point lead over Sandy Lane.

Hepworth struggled to 94 with Jason Simms making 33 as Attique Khan (4-19) and Zahid Hussain (3-26) bowled well.

Sandy Lane also struggled in their innings and were dismissed for 82 with Shoaib Butt scoring 44 as Jonathan Robinson (4-20) and Mark Harland (4-29) wreaked havoc.

Wilsden nip into second spot after a 21-run victory over Cononley.

Wilsden amassed 232-7 in their overs with Hasnat Bukhari making 74, Chris Longley 50 and Dipesh Mistry 45 as Harry Parker took 3-42.

Cononley roared back, led by Andy Starkey (66) and Parker (52) as Bukhari took 3-50.

Gargrave were the high scorers rattling up 307-9 in their visit to Barrowford II.

Gargrave plundered 307-9 thanks to John Beckwith (101), Ben Howlett (52), Joe Wood (42) and Tony Spensley (36) as Abdullah Iqbal claimed 4-75 and Mark Atkinson 3-66.

Barrowford crashed to 62 all out in 15.3 overs with Howlett taking 6-35.

Adam Swallow's 80 in 59 balls helped Bradford & Bingley III to 195-8 with Josh Coppack taking 4-54.

Visitors Airedale were never in the hunt despite 40 from Adam Madgett and they closed 45 runs short of their target. Ayaz Butt (4-35) and Shahbaz Ahmed (3-33) were the best bowlers.

Haworth Road II must have been quietly confident in their ability to defend their total of 200 in which Wajid Mahmood (69) and Paul Rodwell (51) top scored as Jack Dixon took 4-55.

Eldwick & Gilstead burst that confident bubble as they got home by two wickets. Mihir Dighe (49) and Chris Child (43) were the main scorers as Safraz Mahmood took 4-41 and Shahid Mahmood 3-45.

Long Lee saw off Crossflatts II by 55 runs. Mohammad Ishtiaq made 48 as Long Lee posted 160.

Mark Pennington (3-43) and Vijay Amirtharaj (3-44) were the most successful bowlers. Amirtharaj made 60 of the visitors' 105 with Ishtiaq taking 4-15 and Shahbaz Ahmed 3-12.
