SKIPTON CC had a big day with the bat as they battered Alwoodley by 117 runs in Division Three action in the Aire-Wharfe League on Saturday.
Keir Nelson top-scored with a knock of 81, as Iqbal Khan and David Hedges chipped in with 51no and 41, respectively, as Skipton scored 276-6.
Captain Gary Owens was the pick of the Skipton bowlers, as he took 4-49 and the home side bowled Alwoodley out for 159.
Addingham cruised to six-wicket victory at home to North Leeds.
Skipper Ted Haggas (3-16) and Ricky Palacio (3-31) did most of the damage as Addingham restricted North Leeds to 116 all out.
The same pair, Haggas (53no) and Palacio (46no), were also in form with the bat as Addingham (117-4) surpassed their target in the 26th over.
In Division Two, Imran Patel (118no) and captain Michael Richmond (82) had a magnificent second-wicket stand of 180 to lead New Rover (291-3) to a 106-run victory at Steeton (185 all out).
Paul Hardwick (3-72) took the only three wickets for Steeton, and their reply, which came up short, was led by an excellent knock of 75 by Freddie Pearson.
