FOLLOWING their four-wicket victory of the day before on the same ground, Crossflatts must have been quietly confident of reaching the Wynn Cup final.

The Rhysworth Park side went first against Oakworth and, in their 20 overs, rattled up an impressive 199-5.

Mohammad Shahnawaz 63 (six fours and four sixes in 33 balls) and Josh Brooksbank 39 put on 100 for the first wicket.

Then, skipper Joe Greenwood (56no) and Dom Bennett (26) put on 75 for the fourth wicket.

Tom Fothergill was the most successful bowler with 2-37.

Oakworth replied with a creditable 153-8 led by Joe Copperwaite (68) and Luke Keslinki (14) who put on 72 for the second wicket.

Harry Hollingsworth made 31 as Wasim Hussain (4-18) and Alex Bradbury (2-31) kept a tight hold on the innings.

Crossflatts will find out their opponents in the final when Crossflatts II take on Bingley Congs on Sunday, July 28.
