AFTER bringing in Lachlan Coote, Kevin Naiqama, Joe Batchelor and Joseph Paulo this year, and extending the deals of key personnel, Saints boss Justin Holbrook does not envisage the need to strengthen the top squad with further recruitment for 2020.
With no apparent weaknesses in the line-up of the side 10-points clear at the summit, the policy will be to promote from within, with a number of academy proteges knocking on the door.
Saints will be losing Ryan Morgan and Luke Douglas, who have spent the year on loan to London and Leigh respectively, but those holes have already been filled this term.
Holbrook said: “What we have seen coming through with the younger guys is where we are at - Jack Welsby, Lewis Dodd and Josh Simm are the ones who are knocking on the door for first team and they are already here.

“That is what we always wanted to do - promote from our academy. At this stage I cannot see any changes.”
