STEVE O'Shea continued his impressive run of form when adding to his increasing collection of silverware at Settle Golf Club last weekend.
O'Shea held off the challenge from John Read, and despite both players returning five pars in their rounds, it was the former who got his hands on the Peter Robinson Cup.
His net 74 gave him a two-shot victory.
All competitors tended to struggle with the playing conditions, so special mention must go to young Henry Brown. Playing in his first competition, he finished in seventh place with a very commendable net 82.
Earlier in the week, the seniors had an excellent turnout for their Championship Trophy event and it was new member Mike Robins who took the title on countback from John Holliday.
Robins continued this good form in partnership with seniors' captain Peter Morton when they took third place in the Seniors' Open event at Otley Golf club last week.
