THE Skipton and District Bowling League came to a close with a very busy end to the season.

Colne Cricket Club retained the JACS Merit League Division One title with 151 points, Silsden Bowling Club finished well to take the runners up spot with 136 points, with Cononley in third place on 129 points.

Oxenhope (134 points) won the Second Division with Colne Legion A (115) runners up, both being promoted for the 2020 season. Craven A (100) finished in third.

Lund Park A (127) return to the Second Division winning the Third Division, while Gargrave B (116) will also move up after finishing runners up. Craven B (96) finished third.

Lund Park B made it a good season for the club winning the Fourth Division with 135 points. Cononley B stayed one season in the bottom tier finishing second with 105 points and Sutton C finished on level points with Cononley B but had one less win.

In the Walker Foster Division One League, Cononley A came out on top with a points total of 758, runners up where Sutton A (706), with Gargrave A (699) in third place.

Rolls Royce A will be back in the First Division after many years away. They won the Second Division with 622 points. Also returning are runners up Craven A (594) with Settle A (585) claiming third spot.

The Skipton Building Society Division Three saw another successful Craven team with the B team taking the title with 582 points. Addingham (575) finished as runners up, a point ahead of Foulridge. The Fourth Division saw Gargrave C (389) promoted with Keighley C (375) runners up.
