SEVENTY-FIVE children took part in Skipton Swimming Club's annual gala.
This is the club’s premier event and its celebration of swimming competitively at the club.
It provides the opportunity to compete against fellow club members and win medals and club trophies for the age group winners of each event.
This event has been registered as a category four event, which means times can be recorded electronically, using timing mats at the end of the pool and results displayed on an large electronic scoreboard.
The times are also added to the ASA database, giving swimmers the opportunity to feature in larger galas and the up and coming Yorkshire Winter Competition.
Medals and club trophies to be awarded as follows: 50 free/back/breast age groups 8, 9/10, 11/12, 13/14 and 15+ 50 fly, 100 free/back/breast/fly/IM and 200 free/back/breast/IM age groups 9/10, 11/12, 13/14 and 15+. For full results, visit skiptonsc.co.uk
These awards will be presented at the annual club presentation evening in January 2020 at the Rendezvous in Skipton.
