EARBY Town notched a big win against the Craven League's Division Two leaders iPlay FC on Saturday.

Earby's 2-1 win at the Barrowford side came courtesy of goals by Shane Taylforth and Ben Armstrong.

Earby are now in second place, level on points with Salts 3rds, while iPlay drop down to third place.

Salts 3rds took over the division lead on goal difference after beating Barlick Wanderers 8-3 at Salts Sports Association.

Adam Dziedzic's hat-trick led Salts to victory, while Daniel Holden, Daniel Poppleton and Matthew Shirt were on the scoresheet for Barlick.

Cononley Sports Club march on in the Northern Plant Hire Trophy with a 6-2 victory at fellow Division One side Cowling on Saturday.

George Sellers and Seth Wiseman scored the goals for Cowling, while Cononley can now look ahead to playing at Bradley in the second round.

In Division Three, leaders Salts 4ths maintained their unbeaten start to the season after securing a 6-3 win at Sutton.

Ryan Boguslawski lead to Salts goalscorers with a brace, while Terence Hargreaves (2) and William Bestwick were on the scoresheet for 10-man Sutton, who had Daniel Garnett sent off.

Trawden Celtic Juniors 3rds stayed second in the division after a 5-2 win at third placed Otley Town A.

Josh O'Callaghan and Daniel Terry each scored a brace for Trawden.
