NORTH Ribblesdale Under-16s ran out comfortable 17-0 winners when they played their first match in six weeks away at Kendal last week.

In challenging conditions, Ribb started strongly and were camped in the Kendal half from the kick-off.

Man-of-the-match Callum Mathew ran in the first try on 14 minutes with a great running line that wrong footed the Kendal defence.

However, Ribb had to wait until the second half to add to the score when centre Mathew crossed again from an unselfish pass by flanker Adam Dunwell.

Dunwell completed the scoring with a half the length of the pitch dash to make the final score 17-0 to North Ribblesdale.
