The Devonshire Carpets Craven League Cup ties brought at avalanche of goals throughout the divisions with Grassington United leading the way with a ten-goal haul away from home against a depleted Clitheroe Lions side.

Cononley and Gargrave both hit seven in comprehensive wins while in the Premier League Skipton LMS also netted seven times.

Gargrave Reserves in Division One scored eight at Intake who themselves replied with five and in Division Three the four cup ties produced 31 goals with Skipton Town Academy side leading the way with seven.

In the Premier League Cup there was more misery for Bradley who without a win this season were on the receiving end of a 7-0 score line at Gargrave. Paul Wilkin and Tom Varey gave the home side the lead before Liam Jameson's lob from 30 yards was a classic. Gargrave missed a penalty however Kristian Hodgson made it four and further goals from Varey to complete his hat-trick and a second from Jameson wrapped up the scoring.

Cononley beat Hellifield 7-3 to gain some revenge for a recent league defeat with Andrew Hudson claiming a hat-trick and goals from Wayne Lee, Adam Smith, Geoff Slater and Chris Lumsden secured a good win. Embsay lost at Oxenhope 3-1 with the visitor's goal an own goal while on the league front Skipton LMS regained top spot with a 7-3 win over Waddington. Ian Bernard and James Potts gave LMS a 2-0 lead before Waddington hit back to lead 3-2 at the break. It was LMS dominating the second half with Iain Tyrer's penalty levelling the scores with further goals from Luke Krelle, Tyrer, Bernard and Tom Wolstenholme to gain an excellent win. Skipton Town also had a good win at WFC Clitheroe by 3-2 to haul them away from the bottom end of the league.

In Division Two the cup-tie at Intake went to extra time before Gargrave Reserves eventually won by 8-5. Three goals in extra time won the tie for the Gargrave with Ben Brown leading the way with six, Joel Timmins, and James Constantine one each.

Meanwhile in the league Rolls Royce made it three wins on the trot with a good win at Oakworth 3-1. The home side took the lead with a disputed goal but Rolls were rewarded when Kevin Toland scored with a superb header. Rolls were up against the strong wind in the second half but with stood the home side's pressure and skipper Toland scored his second goal with Jason Wright securing a win with his side's third goal.

In Division Two Horton lost at home to Chatburn 4-0 and never looked like scoring while Skipton LMS Reserves lost by a single goal at Trawden Celtic. Rolls Royce Reserves lost at home to Skipton Town Reserves by 3-0. Rolls were another team that did not look scoring and the blustery conditions did not help, however Richard Hargreaves opened the scoring for Town and once they had the wind at their backs Town pressurised Rolls and from a cross come shot Clive Carroll's effort found the net and Hargreaves completed the scoring for a well-earned victory.

Earby Town went top with a 3-1 home win over Pendle Forest while Pendle Renegades lost at Embsay by 4-2. Earby took an early lead when Jay Farrell and the game settled down to a good contest with both sides cancelling each other out. Forest levelled after the break when a clearance rebounded off an attacker. The home side were now defending stoutly however it was they who regained the lead when Antony Dean shot home from the edge of the penalty box and the win was assured when Chris Parry scored from a free-kick.

There was a glut of goals in Division Three with Skipton Town Academy winning 7-4 over Bradley Reserves while Silsden Whitestar won at Barnoldswick Barons 4-3 after extra time.

Another tie requiring extra time was at Hellifield who had a welcome win with a 5-4 score line over Grindleton. Josh Marshall (2), Liam Preston, Lee Windle and Dale Denham's last-minute penalty won the tie for Hellifield.

Waddington Reserves improvement continued with 5-2 win against Earby Town Reserves. Payed on a sticky pitch Earby were 2-0 down before two goals from Ebrima Jange brought them level. Despite hitting the woodwork on three occasions they could not score leaving Waddington comfortable winners.
