STEETON are on the hunt for more youth talent, after being dealt a blow with the loss of two coaches and a whole team.

The under-15s side that were part of the club this season have reverted to their previous name of Cross Hills Cosmos and will play under that guise when next season gets underway.

In a club statement, Steeton said: "Our under-15s management team of Andrew Mitchell and Richard Hibbert decided to leave the club and also move their team back to playing under their previous name of Cross Hills Cosmos for the 2020/21 season.

"We would like to thank Richard, Andrew and all the players for their efforts during the past 12 months and we wish them all the best as they revert to Cross Hills Cosmos.

"The club is keen to continue growing our junior section and we would invite any parties interested in joining the club to contact chairman Pete Jeffrey in the first instance, via the email address: pjeffrey@dobsongasket.com

"This may suit a side that is already playing and would like to be part of a semi-professional club or an individual looking to build a junior side and ultimately progress players to playing senior football.

"We are open to discussions with any age groups who may be interested in this opportunity."
