KEIGHLEY Cougars winger Mo Agoro has today undergone a procedure on his eye.
The Jamaican international has been awaiting this procedure since earlier in the year but it was delayed as a result of the Covid-19 epidemic.
However, the procedure has today taken place at a local hospital.
Head coach Rhys Lovegrove said: “Mo has needed this operation for a while and we as a club have been aware of the problem for some time.
“Mo was complaining of problems with his vision during pre-season training ahead of this year and I advised him to go get it checked out by a doctor.
“Unfortunately for Mo, it turned out that he had a form of cataracts behind one of his eyes and needed an operation to get it sorted, which has happened today after some delay due to everything else going on in the world.
“I wish him a speedy recovery and can’t wait to see him when we report back for pre-season training later in the year.”
