MADISON Turner and Ned Sharp, both 16, of Skipton Swimming Club, have been offered places on the Diploma in Sporting Excellence (DiSE) programme, which is integrated into the Swim England Talent Pathway
Swim England are launching the 2020 DiSE programme, which will be run and managed by the Swim England Talent Team in conjunction with new partners Loughborough College.
In addition, Jack Jenkinson (13) who attends Ermysted’s Grammar School in Skipton, has been selected for the Swim England National Development Programme.
The National Development Programme is the third step on the Swim England Extended Talent Pathway – but the first on the national framework.
The 13 and 14-year-olds picked will be expected to join a day of online workshops on either October 3 or 4, covering ‘Loving Race Day’, sleep recovery and injury prevention.
