BARNOLDSWICK Town have announced Endrit Shehu has resigned from his position as manager of the North West Counties League Premier Division club.
The Albanian had been in the job for just over a year after stepping up from first team coach to replace Matt Barnes last October.
Shehu never really got going though, winning only four of his 15 league games in charge last season, before the results were expunged due to Covid-19.
The former Liverpool International Academy coach did not fair any better this term, losing his last five to leave Town two points off the bottom.
Barlick have confirmed assistant manager Finn O'Leary and first team coach Tom Stephens will take over in the interim.
The committee at Barnoldswick Town last night, reluctantly accepted the resignation of First Team manager @endrit1990 . We would like to place on record our thanks to Endrit for his hard work & commitment over the last 12 months as well as wishing him all the best in the future. pic.twitter.com/BgVNcwsLJ5
