SIX Bradford district non-league clubs have been provided with a bit more clarity in terms of when they expect to return to league action.

Thackley, Albion Sports, Eccleshill United, Silsden, Liversedge and Campion, who all play in the Toolstation Northern Counties East League, have been told to be ready for December 8 and 9.

The original restart of the two divisions was scheduled for December 5, but club representatives expressed concern, at a management committee meeting last Thursday, that the matches would come too soon with lockdown ending only three days prior.

In the interests of welfare and safety, the league moved the games to the following midweek, meaning players would have a full week to train before competitive action resumed.

On the Tuesday, high flying Liversedge will host Knaresborough Town and Silsden invite Staveley Miners Welfare to the Keighley Road Stadium in the Premier Division.

The day after there is a Bradford derby between Albion and Eccleshill, Thackley travel to Grimsby Borough, and Division One leaders Campion play Nostell Miners Welfare at home.

These fixtures are, of course, dependent on the lockdown ending on the currently proposed date of December 2 or any further guidelines that may be introduced.
