MANAGING director of the Skipton Body Repairs Centre Ltd Tony Piotrowicz. has been appointed a life member of the Craven Football League.
Mr Piotrowicz has a long association with local football and his company has sponsored the league for the last seven seasons.
Speaking about the award, Bill Simpson,vice chairman and treasurer of the Craven Football league, said: “Local football gets virtually no financial help from the professional game and we would really struggle without sponsors.
“Tony’s company has been our only sponsor now for seven years and they have maintained this through all the difficulties of the last 18 months even when their business and our league were shut down.
Mr Piotrowicz said: “I am delighted to accept this honour. I have had a lot of good years with the Craven League as a player and as a manager. I have been more than happy to sponsor the league and expect this to continue when the present arrangement comes to an end.”
