Skipton United claimed the Wharfedale Triangle Champions League trophy at the weekend, after defeating Horsforth 2-1.
The match, which took place at Otley was a close encounter, as Skipton took the lead through Fred Midgley, only for Horsforth to hit back immediately.
The second half saw Skipton dominate the ball and create a number of good chances, but against the run of play Horsforth won a penalty.
However, they squandered the opportunity and blazed their effort over the bar.
With the game seeming to be heading to penalties, captain Ben Schindler scored a delightful volley from the edge of the area to win the cup for Skipton.
In their first full season as a Sunday League team, winning the cup capped off a brilliant first campaign.
Skipton will be promoted as of next season.
