THIS morning, Barnoldswick Town announced the capture of Aaron Fleming, who will be joining their squad from Macclesfield FC.
Fleming is a left midfielder who can also be employed as a striker. He is also more than capable of weighing in with his fair share of goals and adds great pace to the attacking line.
Growing up in Blackpool, the speedster began his career by progressing through the youth team ranks at Bloomfield Road, before making the short move to AFC Fylde in the summer of 2014.
Discussing the acquisition, Town Manager Andy Clarkson said: "I have been after him for some time now as he will add firepower and creativity to our squad.
"He is a great lad and a top player who can help us try to reach our ambitions this season .
"I’ve known Aaron since he was a teenager at Afc Fylde and I’ve previously worked with him .
"I am excited about working with him again and I’m certain he will fit straight into our group.
"Macclesfield have been very helpful and professional in this transfer and I would like to thank them for getting this done in good time."
