IT was a time for celebration last week at Skipton Ladies Hockey Club, as they held their Annual AGM -kindly hosted by The Red Lion at Burley in Wharfedale.
Jayne Norman chaired the meeting, but it was captain Helen Cartlidge who began proceedings, with her captain's report reflecting on the campaign which included highlighting progress of individual members, but also recognising how far the team had progressed.
There were several awards which were handed out throughout the evening. The presentation of awards involved-
The Player with the most votes throughout the season for Man of the Match:Third Lisa Cooper (22), Second: Lara Wilson (24), First: Becky Stapleton (31)
The Player to score the most goals throughout the season:Third: Lisa Cooper and Laura Jagger (4), Second: Lara Wilson (10), First: Anna Millington-Downing (11)
The Player with the most votes throughout the season for Opposition Man of the Match:Third- Marisol Carrera and Lara Wilson (2), Second: Becky Stapleton (4) and First: Helen Cartlidge (5)
