Grassington United's striker Jan Ozdoba hit five goals in their 7-1 demolition of Hellifield Sports in the Devonshire Carpets Craven Premier Division. There were a glut of goals in each of the other games, except for a goalless draw between Embsay and Oxenhope.

Leaders Skipton LMS remain in top spot despite not playing, while Cononley Sports lost again and are now five points behind the leaders following the 4-1 home to WFC Clitheroe. Skipton Town beat bottom club Bradley 4-1 and Gargrave lost at home to Waddington where 11 goals were scored.

In Division One Rolls Royce got back to winning ways with a 6-3 home win over bottom team Intake and Cowling won 4-1 at Keighley FC while a shortage of players led to Gargrave Reserves game being called off.

Earby Town was another team not to play when the field at Horton was adjudged to be too wet. However Earby keep the top spot in Division Two. Skipton LMS Reserves won their first league game of the season with 6-4 home win over Cononley Sports Reserves.

In Division Three Silsden Whiestar occupy top spot taking advantage of Barnoldswick Barons open date while Skipton Town A won again. Twelve goals were scored at Bradley when the home team lost by 7-5 to Waddington.

Hellifield Sports were on the receiving end of a second half onslaught at Grassington when after a reasonable first half they gave an embarrassing display. Daniel Mellor scored the only goal while it was a good day for Ozdoba with five goals. Adam Steventon and Craig Quigley were also on target.

Windy conditions assisted Waddington's first goal direct from a corner at Gargrave, however Jonathan Chapman levelled the scores after good work from Joel Timmins. Waddington scored two impressive goals and a defensive error led to the fourth goal.

A repeat of the Timmins-Chapman combination brought a second goal for Gargrave and with sub Matt Brown scoring direct from a corner the home team pressed hard for the equaliser but it was the visitors who scored the next goal to bring a 5-3 victory.

Bradley gifted Skipton Town a early goal and a well-worked goal gave Town a second goal before James Ayrton pulled a Bradley goal back. Town restored the two-goal lead shortly after the break and with a fourth goal had a convincing home win.

Cowling won for only the third time in Division One winning 4-1 at Keighley FC. After some woeful shooting from the home side Cowling scored with their first attack when Kyle Wicks scored and following more pressure from the home side Cowling scored again when Mark Adams netted with a thundering header. The home side did score but Ali McEwen's double salvo knocked them back, but not before Cowling goalkeeper James Metcalfe made some important saves.

Rolls Royce overcame the wet windy conditions to record a 6-3 home win over Intake. Chris Owen grabbed his first of three only for Intake to level.

It was Kevin Toland who gave Rolls a half-time lead and with the wind at their backs Craig Walton increased the lead only for Intake to pull a goal back.

This spurred Rolls and Chris Buchanan's chip and Owen's further goals put Rolls in control. However Intake scored the best goal of the game in the final minutes.

Skipton LMS Reserves, bolstered by several first team players, won for the first time in the league. Ian Bernard, returning from injury, was the star netting four goals in the first half as LMS led 5-1 at the break. Visitors Cononley had taken a first minute lead before LMS dominated the first half.

Following an injury to Chris Watson which required hospital treatment, Cononley gave a spirited second half performance which brought the scores to 5-4 before a late own goal gave LMS victory.

Joshua Darling scored the LMS opener and Wayne Fisher a brace. Youngster Craig Ebbrell and Mick Beilby were on target for the visitors.

Against a big strong Pendle Forest side Rolls Royce reserves were no match and gave a below par performance resulting in an 4-0 defeat.

In Division Three Settle United played for the first time this year and lost at home to Skipton Town A who gained only their second away win of the season with a tremendous team display.

Town had more of the possession in the first half and took the lead when Will Knights showed good control to score. They gifted Settle an equaliser when Mark Loughlin scored and he put his side into the lead early in the second half.

Good work and build up brought Town a leveller when Andy Cooke finished well and the game was heading for a draw until late drama brought Town a penalty which was converted at the second attempt by Knight after the keeper had saved the initial shot A strong wind at Cowling made good football difficult and Earby Town Reserves playing into it were a goal down through a penalty. After several near misses Cowling extended the lead at the break.

Town pulled a goal back soon after the restart when a route one ball found Paul Oldroyd who scored. With the home side finding it hard to break out of their half Town drew level when following a corner sub Jake Palmer scrambled in a goal. Try as they might Earby could not find the winner.
